Huntington Beach is known first and foremost for one thing: surfing. Huntington Beach, also known as Surf City USA, is a surfer's mecca. The International Surfing Museum is located here, as is the Surfer's Hall of Fame. Huntington Beach's title as the Mecca of surf culture is cemented by the bronze statue of Duke Kahanamoku, the “Father of Surfing”, that stands at the corner of the Pacific Coast Highway and Main Street.
